Charles Allen English

Charles Allen English, age 76 of Bremen, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at his home.  Born in Benton, Arkansas, he was the son of the late Charles English and the late Naomi Chaney English.  In addition to his parents, Charles is preceded in death by his brother, James "Tad" English.

Even though he was an Arkansas native, Charles called Haralson County home.  He was employed for almost 30 years with the Haralson County School System teaching in the area of Electro Mechanics. Hundreds of students benefited from his knowledge of electronics and expertise in wiring.  Later in life, he spent several years as an over-the-road truck driver. Charles was an avid hunter and relished his time spent on the lake fishing.  His warm smile and gentle spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Rita Bruno English; his son and daughter-in-law, Allen & Melanie English; his bonus sons, George Bruno and John Bruno; and his precious grandchildren, Katrin & Austin Green, Ally English, and Emily Bruno.  Also surviving are his sister, Charlene Palmer; sister-in-law, Norma English; and a great-granddaughter due in December.

In keeping with his wishes, Charles will be cremated.
