Mr. Charles Ell Couch, age 67, of Temple passed away Friday, February 11, 2011. Mr. Couch was born in Decatur, Alabama on June 29, 1943. He was the son of the late Thomas Couch and the late Flora Belle Peeples Couch. Mr. Couch was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Vietnam. Survivors include his wife, Betty Jo Wilbanks Couch of Temple; two step-daughters, Susan Smith of Temple and Kimberly Hembree of Temple; four step-sons, Phil Long of Florida, Dale Long of Temple, Chip Long of Lithia Springs and Heath Long of Acworth; three grandsons, John Lane, Joshua Long and Harley Long; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, February 13, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Minister Tom Howard officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday afternoon from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
