Mr. Cedric O. McGuire, age 76, of Mandeville Lane, Carrollton passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2011. He was born November 25, 1934 in Bowdon, Georgia to Varo McGuire and Ella Hyde McGuire. Mr. McGuire was the Foreman and retired from U.S. Plating of Atlanta, Georgia. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by daughter, Shirlene Marlow; sisters, Eila Benefield and Elaine Richardson; and brother, Hugh McGuire. Survivors include sons and daughter-in-law, Victor O. and Shawn T. McGuire of Carrollton; Floyd Wayne McGuire of Villa Rica; seven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, April 30, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. from Harmony Baptist Church with Rev. Anthony Puckett officiating. Interment will follow in Sandy Flat Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday at Harmony Baptist Church from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M.
