Catherine Diane Clayton

Catherine Diane Green Clayton, age 52 of Muscadine, Alabama, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 29, 2026.  Born in Carrollton, Georgia, she was the daughter of Mary Nell Smith Green and the late Jimmy Lloyd Green.  In addition to her father, Diane is preceded in death by her husband, Randall Clayton.

Diane attended Haralson County High School.  She loved her family dearly and enjoyed taking care of others.  

Her survivors include her daughters, Randi (Trey) Dalrymple of Boaz, AL, and Brandi Clayton of Fyffe, AL; son, Joshua (Taylor) Lumpkin of Albertville, AL; her significant other, Lee Morris of Muscadine; her mother Mary Green; and her precious grandchildren: Ryleigh Lumpkin, Jaxon Lumpkin and Levi David George.  Also surviving are her brothers, Jody (Ashley) Webb of Tallapoosa and Keith Green of Wichita, Kansas; nephews, Jagger Webb and Austin Green; and niece Alexis Green.

In keeping with the family's wishes, Diane will be cremated.  

The family will host a celebration of life for Diane Clayton on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Country Gardens and Events Center in Buchanan.

Cremation services are entrusted to Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan.
