Carrol Wetzel Blankenship, Jr. age 67 of Bremen, passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2024. He was born on June 16, 1956, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Carrol Wetzel Blankenship, Sr. and the late Una Francell Hoderfield. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Kenny Blankenship.

Carroll loved his family, and he especially enjoyed teasing his grandchildren. Talking on the phone was one of his favorite pastimes, as was fishing and cooking.  Carroll was a wheeler dealer and was adept at making the best trade deals. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Theresa Joanne Barath Blankenship; daughters, Gina Blankenship, Amy Grimshaw, and Jody Blankenship (Ricky Byers); son, Tyke Blankenship; sisters, Wendy Evans and Sherry Blankenship ( Valleri Grabtree); brother, Brock Blankenship (Stephanie; and sister-in-law, Mindy Blankenship.  Also surviving are his precious grandchildren: Baylee, Ethan, Zander, Tucker, Jorja, Serenity, Carleigh and Daven; great grandchild, Emmie Lue, and several other relatives and friends.

In keeping with the family's wishes, Mr. Blankenship will be cremated.

Cremation services are entrusted to Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan.
