Mrs. Carolyn Joyce Clement Smith, age 83, of Temple passed away Friday, July 28, 2017.  Mrs. Smith was born in Blairsville, Georgia, on March 22, 1934.  She was the daughter of the late Tillman Clement and the late Ruby Mason Clement.  Mrs. Smith was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Clarence Lewis Smith of Temple; two daughters and one son-in-law, Deborah Maddox of Dallas, and Nancy and Robert Collins of Hiram; one son, Gene Smith of Temple; six grandchildren, Nathan Smith, Alex Smith, Sean Crow, Connie Crow, Chad Collins and Aaron Collins; nine great grandchildren, Ashely, Skylar, Tyler, Hailee, Torrie, Colt, Parker, William and Finley; one great great grandchild, Aubrey; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, July 31, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Bro. Ricky Shirley officiating.  Interment will follow in Melrose Hills Memorial Park, Villa Rica.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday afternoon from 12:0 Noon until 2:00 P.M.
