Mrs. Carolyn Jeanette Worthy Farmer, age 71, of 305 Carrollton St., Buchanan passed away Sunday, March 1, 2009 at her residence. Mrs. Farmer was born in Polk County July 28, 1937. She was the daughter of the late William Worthy and the late Mildred Wood Worthy. Mrs. Farmer was retired from Sewell Manufacturing Company. Survivors include her husband, Robert Lee Farmer of Buchanan; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Robert L. Farmer of Tallapoosa and William M. and Tracie Farmer of Bremen; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Elizabeth Cooper of Cedartown, Maxine and Harold Pilgrim of Rockmart and Sandra Stephens of Atlanta; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald and Okie Morris of Woodland, TN and Jimmy and Nan Morris of Cedartown; six grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Danny Hutcheson officiating. Interment will follow in the Buchanan Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Tony Farmer, Brad Farmer, Billy Brown, Ryan Crews, John Labo and Jimmy White. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
