Carol Ann Brown Farmer, age 61 of Carrollton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 2, 2026. Born on June 2, 1965, in Atlanta, she was the daughter of the late Olin L. Brown and the late Linda D. Chesser Brown. In addition to her parents, Carol is preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly "Nikki" Farmer; a sister, Melinda "Lynn" Cook, and a nephew Andrew Campbell.
A 1983 graduate of Haralson County High School, Carol continued her love of reading and had read every book in the "Harry Potter" series. She enjoyed listening to classic rock and watching true crime shows. The beach was Carol's favorite vacation destination and spending time with her family was her passion, especially her grands who called her Meemaw. Her cat, "Sparky," had also been a bright light in her life and constant companion for many years. Carol's beautiful smile and loving personality will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Ashley & Andrew Gore; her sister, Rita Underwood; her brother and sister-in-law, David & Kim Brown; and her precious grandchildren, Ashton Gore and Abram Gore. Also surviving are her niece and nephew who affectionately called her Aunt Carol, Cathy Lovvorn, Michael Heaton, Noah Brown and Ethan Brown; and other extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 4, 2026, from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Brother Ricky Shirley officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
