Mr. Carl W. McPherson, age 88, of Bremen passed away Thursday, December 16, 2010. Mr. McPherson was born in Haralson County on September 26, 1922. He was the son of the late Kincheloe H. McPherson and the late Bunnie Darnell McPherson. Mr. McPherson was a veteran of the United States Military and was a retired attorney. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Charles Hamilton McPherson. Survivors include his wife, Jewell Neundorfer McPherson of Bremen; sister-in-law, Emily McPherson of Bremen; niece, Kay McPherson of Buckhead; nephew, Rev. Dan and Jan McPherson of Carrollton; and a number of other relatives. Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, December 18, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. from the Chapel of Bremen First United Methodist Church with Rev. Dan McPherson and Rev. Wayne Monroe officiating. Private interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Bremen Education Foundation (for Hamilton McPherson Performing Arts Building Fund), 504 Laurel St., Bremen, GA 30110.
