Carl Ray Crumbley, age 73 of Tallapoosa, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 13, 2024, at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Cedartown on June 14, 1950, he was the son of the late Ely Thomas Crumbley and the late Ethel Inez Stephens Crumbley.  In addition to his parents, Carl is preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lee Mann.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Betty Crumbley; daughters and sons-in-law, Marcia & Chris Rush, Matrina & Brian Sutton, Monica & Kevin Fitzgerald, and Melinda Lynn; and sons and daughters-in-law, James & Heather Lynn and Carl, Jr. & Ashley Crumbley; 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Also surviving are his nieces, Cindy Mann and Denise Philbeck.

The family will host a memorial service for Carl Crumbley will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Steadman Baptist Church.

Cremation services are entrusted to Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan.
