Ms. Caren Copeland Entrekin, age 68, of Carrollton passed away Monday, March 28, 2016.  Ms. Entrekin was born in Carrollton, Georgia on September 26, 1947.  She was the daughter of the late J. Edwin Copeland and the late Louise Williamson Copeland.  Ms. Entrekin was a retired medical transcriptionist.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Kimberly Entrekin.

Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, William Wayne Entrekin of Gadsden, AL and Walter Copeland Entrekin and Hayley Entrekin of Bremen; one sister and brother-in-law, Carole and Joe McGinnis of Carrollton; five grandchildren, Brianna Lovering, Brendan Entrekin, Lucas Entrekin, Ben Entrekin and Andy Entrekin; one great grandchild, McKinley Entrekin; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Gil McGinnis and Rev. Gerald Varner officiating.  Interment will follow in the Copeland lot at Carrollton City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday afternoon from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 P.M.
