Mr. Burt Alan Newman , 54, Of Douglasville, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2013. He was born Tuesday, September 8, 1959 to Evon Newman and Marjorie Jones Newman. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one son Jeffery Newman.

Survivors include one daughter Amber Newman of Douglasville; one son Alan Lee Newman of Douglasville and a number of other relatives.

Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, October 25, 2013 at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Douglasville, Georgia at 2:00 PM with the Reverend Mark Keheley officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 11:00 until 1:00 PM.

Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
