Bruce T. Knowles, age 80, of Buchanan, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2022, after a battle with Alzheimers.  He was born on August 8, 1941, in Savannah, GA, to the late Thomas Jefferson Knowles and the late Bonnie Strickland Knowles.  Before coming to Buchanan, he had lived in Piedmont, AL, and had retired as a master carpenter.

He is survived by his children: April Knowles Smith, Jacksonville, AL; Thomas Knowles, Tallapoosa; and Michael Shane Knowles, FL; his sister, Carol Ann Shears; his brother Clifton Knowles, Folkston, GA; and five grandchildren.

In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Knowles will be cremated and plans for a service will be planned for a later date.
