Brittany Michelle Dutton

Brittany Michelle Elder Dutton, age 36 of Carrollton, passed away tragically on Monday, January 12, 2026.  Born in Atlanta, Georgia, on February 25,1989, she was the daughter of the late Charles Wayne Chosewood and the late Virginia Lynn Herrin Elder.  In addition to her parents, Brittany is preceded in death by her brothers, Timmy Allen and Andy Elder.

A stay at home mom, Brittany loved her children fiercely and enjoyed cooking for her family.  Their favorite activity together was playing outdoors.  In her younger years, Brittany cherished the time singing with her father in church.  Her beautiful spirit will be missed by all who loved her.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Bobby Dutton; her daughters: Kaidence Elder, Abby Dutton, Alyssa Dutton; and her sons, Austin Dutton, Preston Dutton, Bentley Dutton, and Gavin Dutton.  Also surviving are her sisters: Melissa Roach, Christy Elder, Pam Hughes, Brandy Christmas, and Tracy Elder; her brothers: Charles Chosewood, Jr and Billy Allen; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

A Celebration of Life for Brittany Dutton will be conducted at 4:00 PM on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be given to the funeral home to help with Brittany's final expenses.  You may call with card information or donate by check.
