Brian Jerrell Wade

Brian Jerrell Wade, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and cherished member of his community, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2026, at his home. Born on August 23, 1971, in Villa Rica, Georgia, Brian was the son of the late Bobby J. Wade and the late Shirley Craven Wade. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jason Wade.

A high school graduate and a dedicated professional, Brian made a meaningful career in underground utilities construction with Mastec. A true jack of all trades, he loved to tinker and fix whatever caught his interest. Outside of work, Brian was an avid hunter always finding satisfaction in the great outdoors. Those close to him recall his habit of “resting his eyes,” a small trait that endeared him to many. Above all else, Brian loved his family deeply. His presence will be dearly missed, but his memory will forever remain in the hearts of those he so dearly loved.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Tracy Howell Wade; his two wonderful sons: Dillin Howell and his wife Polly of Bremen, and Triston Wade and his wife Christin of Bowdon; and his mother, Glenda Wade of Waco. Brian found immense joy in spending time with his five grandchildren—Addison, Matt, Leah, Tucker, and Charli. Also surviving are his siblings: Andrea and Derek Williams of Bremen, Jessica and James Franklin of Gadsden, Janet and Corey Bolden of Waco, Jason Hamrick of Fair Hope, Alabama, Kale Hamrick of Heflin, and his sister-in-law, Angel Wade of Bremen. He was also loved by numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral for Brian Wade will be conducted at 6:00 PM, Wednesday, March 25th at Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel.  Following the service, he will be cremated.

A visitation with family and friends will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
