Mr. Brennan Ray Robinson, age 95, of Yountville, California, formerly of Bremen, passed away Thursday, October 7, 2010. Mr. Robinson was born in Carroll County on July 29, 1915. He was the son of the late Jack Robinson and the late Ruth Mote Robinson. Mr. Robinson was a veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II. During his time in the Army he was severely injured and received the Purple Heart. He was a retired plant superintendant with Swift and Company. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Mabel Jo Keese Robinson; one grandchild, Thomas Robinson; and one brother, Damon Robinson. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Lester and Vicki Robinson of California; and cousins, Jackie Robinson of West Lake, LA, Linda Robinson of West Lake , LA, Henry Robinson of Spartanburg, SC, Fran Robinson of Spartanburg, SC, Bill Robinson of Savannah and Patsy Robinson of Savannah. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, October 12, 2010, at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Herman Parker officiating. Interment will follow in the Bremen City Cemetery.
