Brenda Faye Wynn

Brenda Faye Fowler Wynn, age 79 of Waco, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 24, 2026.  Born in Ringgold, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Jasper Fowler and the late Thelma Ruth Poteet Griffith.  In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Kenneth Wynn, Sr; her sisters, Barbara Holmes and Freida Fowler; her brothers, Gene Fowler, Lamar Fowler, Jimmy Fowler, Dennis Fowler, and Charles Fowler; and her son-in-law, Paul Wilson.

A devoted wife and mother, Brenda enjoyed taking care of her family.  She was an excellent cook and had worked at restaurants using her culinary skills.  Canning and sewing were two of her skills that brought her much joy, as well as fishing.  Her guilty pleasure was reading detective novels and watching crime shows with her favorite being CSI.  After her husband's death, her faithful companion, Bella, was always by her side.  Brenda will be dearly missed by all who loved her.

Left to cherish her memories are her children and their spouses: Angela (Ryan) Wynn of Waco, Teresa Wynn of Waco, Lisa (Scott) Knowles of Heflin, Alabama, Michelle (Hector) Celis of Felton, and Charles (Lynn) Wynn, Jr. of Waco.  Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.

In keeping with her wishes, Brenda will be cremated.
