Brenda Jean Agans Vollrath, age 78 of Carrollton, passed away on March 2, 2024. She was born on July 24, 1945 in Atlanta to the late Eugene Agans and the late Katie Agans.

Survivors include her husband, Alton Guy Vollrath, Jr.; daughter, Katherine and Jason Mitchell of Douglasville; sons, James Harrison Smith of Mt. Zion, Donald Bassell Smith of Mt. Zion, James Matthew Smith of Carrollton, Joseph Robert Smith of Carrollton, Tracy Guy Vollrath of Bremen and Cody Christopher Vollrath of Carrollton; sisters, Kathy Agans, Janice Dulfoth and Marylin Dale; David Agans and Donald Agans; 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and several other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be conducted on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 3:00 PM from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends on Saturday at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM.
