Mr. Borders "Bubba" Lane Holliday, Jr., age 73, of Buchanan passed away Monday, May 11, 2015.  Mr. Holliday was born in Richmond County, Georgia on December 18, 1941.  He was the son of Borders Lane Holliday, Sr. and the late Robbie Juanita Johnson Holliday.  He was retired from Turner Broadcasting Company in Atlanta.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one great grandchild, Annabelle Frady.

Survivors include his wife, Gail Herron Holliday of Buchanan; two daughters and one son-in-law, Desirae Holliday of Buchanan and Callie and Johnny Green of Carrollton; one sister, Elaine Thompson of Alpharetta; four grandchildren, Brandy Hooper and her spouse Steven, Ricky Frady and his wife Ellen, Joseph Thompson and his wife, Jessica Hales and Christopher Frady; nine great grandchildren, Logan Pittman, Gabrielle Thompson, Peyton Frady, Abbygail Frady, Isaiah Hooper, Malachi Hooper, Sher Thompson, Ivan Thompson and Joseph Green; and a number of other relatives.

Memorial services will be conducted Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. from Holly Springs Baptist Church in Yorkville, Georgia with Rev. Eric Bailey officiating.
