Ms. Bonnie McKinney Hale, age 71, of Buchanan passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2009. Ms. Hale was born May 9, 1938. She was the daughter of the late Rufus McKinney and the late Sarah McNatt McKinney. Survivors include one daughter Angela Newman of Stockbridge; one son, Randy Jones of Tallapoosa; three grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted from the Graveside at Buchanan City Cemetery Thursday, October 22, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Sanford Tapley officiating. Interment will follow in the Buchanan City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 12:00 Noon until 1:30 P.M.
