Mr. Bobby Hugh House, Sr., age 75, of Rockmart passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2014.  Mr. House was born in Haralson County on April 9, 1938.  He was the son of the late W.B. House and the late Laura Owens House.  Mr. House was a retired painter.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Louise Smith House; one son, Bobby House, Jr.; and five brothers, Charles House, Bernard House, Bill House, Robert House and James House.

Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Nina House of Rockmart and Leanne and Frank Glover of Douglasville; one son and daughter-in-law, Jody and Paula House of Cartersville; one sister, Sarah Nell Bagley of Temple; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Henry and Mary House of Bremen, Raymond and Marsha House of Brunswick, Howard and Kathy House of Bremen and Ernest and Shelby House of Temple; twelve grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, March 30, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Robert Ledbetter and Rev. Steve Price officiating.  Interment will follow in Edwards Cemetery, Buchanan, Georgia with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Anthony House, Mark House, Ronnie House, Ray House, Billy Bagley and Stevie House.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
