Bobby Fulton Bell, age 75 of Bremen, passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2024. He was born on November 20, 1948, to the late Z.V. Bell and the late Mary Norton Bell. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Judy Summerville Bell, to whom he was married 49 years; son, Brian Bell; and brothers, Johnny Bell and Larry Bell.

Bobby enlisted in the Unites Marine Corp in 1969.  After being discharged from the Marines, he joined the United States Army in June of 1974.  Bobby received several commendations including:the  National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal with Device, Vietnam Service Medal with 2 oversea bars, and the Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm.  He was honorably discharged in June of 1977.  Bobby was employed and retired after 30 years with the city of Douglasville in the Public Works Department. A country boy at heart, Bobby enjoyed hunting and fishing.  Watching NASCAR and baseball were also two of his favorite pastimes.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Amy Bell of Temple; brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Sandra Bell of Roopville; grandchildren, Nolan Bell and Tyler Bell, and several other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 11:00 AM from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Pastor Mark Haney officiating. Private interment will follow in the Bremen City Cemetery.  Honoring Bobby's love of country life, the family asks that you come casually dressed.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 16, 2024, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
