Bobby Lee Bell, age 72 of Waco, passed away on Monday, February 5, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 14, 1951, in Haralson County to the late Robert Bell and the late Dorothy Edna King Bell. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Janice Rush and brother, Floyd Bell.

Bobby was a "Jack of all Trades."  As a car enthusiast, he enjoyed anything to do with cars and especially enjoyed attending car shows.  Bobby ate many meals with friends at the "Liar's Table" at the Turn Around.  However, his passion was his family, and he will be dearly missed by them and his friends.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Helen Marie LuAllen Bell of Waco; daughter, Stacy and Larry Jackson of Waco; son Toby and Kelsey Bell of Tallapoosa; sisters, Agnes Bell, Connie and Donnie Edwards, and Mary and Jerry Causey; and  brother, David and Stacy Bell.  Also surviving are his precious grandchildren, Megan and Kolton Robinson, Jacob and Caitlin Simmons, Payton Simmons and Brad Nicholson; great grandchildren, Kinsley Simmons, Wiley Simmons, Grayson Nicholson, Autlee Nicholson, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, February 9, 2024, at 1:00 PM from Pine Grove Baptist Church with Reverend Shane Leggett officiating. Bobby will lie in state from 12:00 Noon until the service hour. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Brandon Bell, Justin Bell, Kolton Robinson, Barry Bell, Kevin Causey, Nick Williams, Dustin Deese and Brad Nicholson. Gentlemen serving as honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Causey, Jody Bell, Tony Ellis, and Lynwood Owens.

The family will receive friends at the family's home, 115 S. Waco School Rd., Bremen, GA 30110, on Thursday, February 8, 2024 starting at 6:00 PM.
