Obituary

Mr. Bob "Hot Dog" McKenzie, age 60, of 995 Tyus Rd., Carrollton passed away Sunday, June 28, 2009. Bob was born in Carroll County on September 1, 1948. He was the son of the late R.F. McKenzie and the late Pauline Camp McKenzie. Mr. McKenzie had worked as a mechanical engineer with Southwire and was retired as a project manager with Fluor-Daniel.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie Shadinger McKenzie of Carrollton; one son and daughter-in-law, Corey and Katy McKenzie of Carrollton; one sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Ken Chadwick of Carrollton; one grandchild, Lucy Grace McKenzie of Carrollton; and a number of other relatives. Bob was preceded in death by his brother Tony McKenzie.
A Celebration of Life for Hot Dog will be Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at Liberty C.M. Church in Lowell with Rev. Joey Dedman officiating. Our family would like to honor Hot Dog by having anyone who desires to participate as a speaker or in written comment to kindly get in touch with the family at coreymc01@hotmail.com .
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Liberty C.M. Church and a tree be planted at their private residence in memory of Bob.
Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
