Mr. Billy Ray Clapp, age 75, of 3000 Summer Breeze Drive, Villa Rica passed away Thursday, June 4, 2009. Mr. Clapp was born in Washington County, Virginia on March 31, 1934. He was the son of the late Emory Claude Clapp and the late Sarah Ellen Rush Clapp. Mr. Clapp was a veteran of the United States Army and was a retired optician. Survivors include his wife, Lynette Taylor Clapp of Villa Rica; one daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Michael Turner of Williamsburg, VA; one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Amanda Clapp of Douglasville; three grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Private services in Virginia will be conducted at a later date. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan, Georgia is in charge of the arrangements.
