Miss Beverly June Turner, age 74, of Carrollton passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2017.  Miss Turner was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on May 21, 1942.  She was the daughter of the late Joel Alton Turner and the late Edna McGee Jones.  Miss Turner was a veteran of the United States Army and was a retired transportation dispatcher.

Miss Turner was an avid football fan.  She loved the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, the West Georgia Wolves, the Carrollton Trojans and the Atlanta Falcons.  Miss Turner was fun loving and loved a good joke.

Survivors include one sister and brother-in-law, Vicki and Shane Bell of Carrollton; friend, Elizabeth Hadden of Powder Springs; niece, Stephanie Stovall of Carrollton; and a number of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. from Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, Georgia, with First Sgt. David Lyle officiating..

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday morning from 10:00 A.M. until 10:45 A.M.
