Mrs. Betty Lou Gibbs Wehunt, age 79, of Snellville, formerly of Buchanan, passed away Friday, May 27, 2016.  Mrs. Wehunt was born in Blue Ridge, Georgia on November 11, 1936.  She was the daughter of the late William Otis Gibbs and the late Ruby Lee Martin Gibbs.  Mrs. Wehunt was a homemaker.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel H. Wehunt; and one daughter, Barbara Carter.

Survivors include one son, Billy Joe Pearson; two grandchildren, Steven Johnson and Joe Johnson.

Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. from Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery.
