Ms. Betty Jean Allison Smith, age 53, of 549 Johnny Cut Rd., Griffin passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2010. Ms. Smith was born in Paulding County on July 27, 1957. She was the daughter of Bobby Gene Hammitt and Opal Marie Mosley Allison. Survivors include one son, Stephen Adam Allison of Avondale; one daughter, Adrea Leigh Gable of Jackson; mother, Opal Marie Mosley Allison of Avondale; sister, Patsy Marie Crawley of Hampton; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. from the Graveside at Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Paulding County with Rev. Dennis Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
