Miss Betty Jean Houston, age 46, of Bremen passed away Sunday, January 19, 2014.  Miss Houston was born in Carrollton, Georgia on November 29, 1967.  She was the daughter of the late Fred Junior Houston and the late Betty Jo Kilgore Houston.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Houston.

Survivors include four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Maggie and Fred Hulsey of Bremen, Marie and Dave Mullis of Alma, Wilma and Hubert Hulsey of Tallapoosa and Terri Brown of Bremen; one brother, Troy Houston of Tallahassee, FL; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Arthur Justice and Rev. Billy Ray Cleveland officiating.  Interment will follow in Liberty Christian Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Michael Swafford, Lee Hulsey, Stevie Hulsey, Pete Houston, Dave Mullins and Jake Cobb.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
