Mrs. Betty Jo Johnson Hogan, age 74, of Temple passed away Thursday, August 14, 2014.  Mrs. Hogan was born in Paulding County on July 30, 1940.  She was the daughter of the late Nathan Lawrence Johnson and the late Pearlie Wright Johnson.  Mrs. Johnson was a retired CNA with Wellstar Paulding Nursing Home.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ralph E. Hogan; four sisters, Agnes Johnson, Mildred Brown, Rosielee Parrish, and a sister that died in infancy; and four brothers, Charles Johnson, Donald Johnson, Ellis Johnson and J.B. Johnson.

Survivors include one step son, Tommy Hogan of Temple; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Ivymae and Gary Dobbs of Temple and Thelma and Lowell Bush of Buchanan; one brother and sister-in-law, Lamar and Judy Johnson of Temple; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutchesons' Memorial Chapel with Dr. Corky Addison and Rev. Wendell Rush officiating.  Music will be rendered by Wanda Addison.  Interment will follow in Meadowbrook Memory Gardens in Villa Rica with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Todd Johnson, Tim Johnson, Mason Bush, Billy Wayne Johnson, David Johnson, James Johnson, Kenneth Johnson, Michael Johnson and Phillip Johnson.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
