Ms. Betty Jean Lovvorn Boone, age 84, of Bremen passed away Sunday, May 13, 2012. Ms. Lovvorn was born in Carroll County on November 1, 1927. She was the daughter of the late Loyce Lovvorn, Sr. and the late Mamie Reid Lovvorn. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Diane Benefield.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Mike Grubbs of Bremen; one sister, June Bishop of Carrollton; one brother, Loyce Lovvorn, Jr. of Bowdon Junction; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one great greatb grandchild; and a number of other relatives.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted Monday, May 14, 2012 at 4:00 P.M. from Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Scott Gentry officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
