Mrs. Bessa Fox Calhoun, age 83, of Carrollton passed away Monday, March 23, 2015.  Mrs. Calhoun was born in Carroll County, Georgia, on October 29, 1931.  She was the daughter of the late Watson Fox and the late Vesta McWhorter Fox.  Mrs. Calhoun was a retired lunch room worker with Carroll County Schools.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Fox and Nell Cook; and two brothers, Bobby Fox and Roy Fox.

Survivors include her husband, Harold Loyd Calhoun of Carrollton; one son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Robin Calhoun of Carrollton; one sister, Martha Hardison of Fairburn; one brother, Frank Fox of Carrollton; one grandchild, Amy Calhoun; one great grandchild, Hunter Albright; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. from Carroll Memory Gardens with Rev. Wayne Webb officiating.  Interment will follow in Carroll Memory Gardens with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Charles Jackson, Eddie Duncan, David Duncan, Joe Bell, J.R. Maxwell and Todd Powell.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
