Mr. Bernard Gordell Haney, age 67, of Tallapoosa passed away Monday, January 27, 2014.  Mr. Haney was born in Haralson County on May 1, 1946.  He was the son of the William Sanford Haney and the late Lora Viola Palmer Haney.  Mr. Haney was retired from General Motors.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Christy Haney of Tallapoosa; one sister, Bernice Lyles of Calhoun; five grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

A visitation will be conducted at the funeral home Friday evening, January 31, 2014 from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
