Belinda Cook Buchanan, age 69 of Ranburne, Al, passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2022. She was born on December 10, 1952, to the late Noel Cook and the late Edris J. Lee Cook. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her daughter, Kandy Hulsey Cason and brothers, Noel "Eddie" Cook, Jr. and Mark Anthony "Doodle" Cook.

Before her health began failing, Belinda was employed as a Security Guard with Southwire.  She enjoyed cooking for her family and working with flowers.  But her greatest love was her family.

Survivors include her sons, Lee and Connie Sue Smith and Chase Hulsey, both of Ranburne; grandchildren, Blake Smith, Brittany Brooks, Ashleigh Jones, Tyler Newborn and Kaci Black; ten great grand and several other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Belinda Buchanan will be conducted  at 3:00 PM on Sunday, October 2, 2022, from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Pastor Ricky Shirley officiating. Music will be provided by Rocky Rochester. Interment will follow in the Buchanan City Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Reid Cook, Mitchell Cook, Rocky Hughes, Kenneth Black, Josh Huffman and Johnny Perkins.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 2, 2022, at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until the service hour.
