Mrs. Barbara Ann Thompson Lyle, age 66, of 183 Buncombe-Waco Rd., Waco passed away Monday, October 4, 2010. Mrs. Lyle was born in Aragon, Georgia on September 15, 1944. She was the daughter of the late J. C. Thompson and the late Martha Carter Thompson. Mrs. Lyle was a homemaker. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Rosie Williams. Survivors include her husband, Dewey L. Lyle of Waco; three daughters and sons-in-law, Lawanda and Jimmy Folsom of Bremen, Pam and Barry Folds of Carrollton and Missy and Todd Abercrombie of Tallapoosa; one son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Karol Lyle of Carrollton; one sister, Linda Caldwell of Buchanan; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Donnie and Jo Ann Thompson of Tallapoosa, Gordon and Opal Thompson of Rockmart and James and Brenda Thompson of Rockmart; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, October 8, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Layton officiating. Interment will follow in the Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Johnny Carter, Eric Thompson, Jimmy Folsom, Jr., Robert Edwards, Corey Lyle, Justin Lyle, Jerry Lee Arp and Phillip Britt. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. and Thursday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
