Barbara Sue Hulsey Ginther, age 61, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2024, at a local hospital.  Born on September 21, 1962, in Paulding County, she was the daughter of the late Herman "Sambo" Hulsey and the late Sue McSpadden Gilbert.

A lover of life, Barbara had enjoyed horseback riding, country line dancing, and could always been seen with a Diet Coke in her hand.  She was an avid Alabama football fan, however, her greatest passion was her family.  She loved being Mama to her children and Mawmaw to her grands who all had special nicknames.  Barbara also enjoyed cooking and spending time with her fur baby Pomeranian, Fancy.

Survivors include her husband, Demetrious Young; her children, Tiffany Munch, Brittany Mims, Shaun Popejoy, Amber Hudgins, Danielle Ginther, and Brandon Stanley; her grandchildren, Savannah, Hannah, McKenzie, McKenleigh, Austin Jane, Loralei, Arya, Logan, Abigail, Axel, Elijah, and Devin; and her siblings, Blanche, Brenda, and Bobby.

In keeping with Barbara's wishes, she will be cremated.
