Barbara Kay McCollum Cole, age 64 of Temple, passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021. She was born on April 16, 1957 in Ellijay to the late C.J. Thomas and the late Lorene Brown Thomas. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by one sister, Gwendolyn Faye Norris; two brothers, Mickey Shierling and Tommy Shierling.

Survivors include three daughters, Sonya Frasure of Bremen, Pam Frasure of Temple and Lynn Lee of Villa Rica; one son, Kenneth James Frasure of Villa Rica; one brother, Richard Shierling of Georgia; nine grandchildren, Christopher Frasure, Kristin Priest, John Priest, III, Haley Parks, Brooklyn Parks, Madilynn Parks, Cason Frasure, Sylina Frasure and Ashley Goddard; six great grandchildren, Harlow Hester, Annelise Hester, Jansen Hester, Oakley Goddard, Nova Goddard, Charlie Kate Goddard and several other relatives and friends.

In keeping with the family's wishes she will be cremated.

Cremation services are entrusted to Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory.
