Mrs. Barbara Lee Roper Adams, age 53, of Fruithurst, Alabama passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2011. Mrs. Adams was born in Rome, Georgia on April 9, 1957. She was the daughter of William E. Roper, Sr. and the late Ruth Inez Trahan Roper. Mrs. Adams was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, William Adams of Fruithurst, AL; one daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Derrick Steward of Saks, AL; one son, Christopher Adams of Fruithurst, AL; one sister and brother-in-law, Andrea and Wayne Morris of Waco; one brother, Bill Roper, Jr. of Waco; one grandchild, Austin Steward; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, March 11, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Wayne Morris and Rev. Jimmy Bray officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
