Mrs. Audie Lou Rutledge Hutcheson, age 90, of 2852 Morgan Rd., Bremen passed away Friday, June 25, 2010. Mrs. Hutcheson was born in Carroll County on April 20, 1920. She was the daughter of the late William Washington Rutledge and the late Pearl Carroll Rutledge. Mrs. Hutcheson was the oldest member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church in Temple where she taught Sunday School for many years. Following retirement from Paulding Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Georgia she was employed as a caregiver. She was a devoted mother, grandmother who loved her family dearly. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Hamilton Hutcheson; children, Danny Hutcheson, who died in infancy and Ted Hutcheson; grandchildren, Tammy Carroll and Shanda Rose Ledbetter; sisters, Ruby Womack, Ruth Dewberrry, Mae Moore, Martell Payne, Ottie Bryant, Reba Holland; brothers, Owen Rutledge, Carroll Rutledge and Howard Rutledge. Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Elaine and Larry Causey of Bremen; Mary Ledbetter of Ranburne, AL and Connie and Jim Price of Cedartown; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Radford Hutcheson of Cedartown and Dennis and Louise Hutcheson of Bremen; ten grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, June 27, 2010 at 4:00 P.M. from Mount Carmel Baptist Church, Temple with Rev. Keith Arp and Rev. Joel Norton officiating. Music will be rendered by Dennis McCullough. Interment will follow in the Draketown Baptist Church Cemetery. The remains will lie in state at the Church from 3:00 P.M. until the funeral hour.
