Mr. Anthony Wayne Lancaster, age 60, of Tallapoosa, died Sunday, May 3, after a lengthy battle with cancer.  Anthony was born May 29, 1959, in Dalton, GA,  to parents Wilbur H. Lancaster and Mary Lowery Lancaster.  He was a Navy and Army veteran and spent several years working as a phlebotomist.  Anthony was a member of the Church of God of the Union Assembly in Cedartown, GA.  He was predeceased by a brother, Wilbur Olen Lancaster and sister-in-law, Kathy Lancaster.

Mr. Lancaster is survived by his parents, Wilbur and Mary Lancaster of Tallapoosa, 3 brothers and sister-in-law: Herbert Lancaster, Richardson, TX; Winston Lancaster of Paraguay; and Scott (Lynn) Lancaster, Marshall, TX; and several nieces and nephews.

According to his wishes, Mr. Lancaster will be cremated.  His family is planning a memorial service to be held Saturday, May 9, at 2 PM, at the Church of God of the Union Assembly in Chatsworth, GA.
