Mrs. Annie Lea Weaver, age 79, of Buchanan formerly of Hickory, North Carolina passed away Sunday, February 26, 2012. Mrs. Weaver was born in Catawba County, North Carolina on June 10, 1932. She was the daughter of the late George and Rosa Mae Weaver Seagle. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Weaver.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Staci Weaver of Dallas; two sisters, Betty Nail of Hickory, NC and Mary Sigmon of Jerome, ID; three grandchildren, Alexandrea, Joshua and Zachary Weaver all of Dallas; and a number of other relatives.

Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, February 23, 2012 at 3:00 P.M. from the Sardis Lutheran Church Cemetery, Hickory, North Carolina with Rev. Anna Merritt officiating. Interment will follow in the Sardis Lutheran Church Cemetery.
