Mrs. Annie Mae Mason Cheatwood, age 79 of 1574 Tallapoosa-East Church Rd., Buchanan passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2008. Mrs. Cheatwood was born in Cullman County, Alabama on May 24, 1928. She was the daughter of the late William Frank Mason and Mary Inez Bradley Mason. Mrs. Cheatwood was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Mosey Cheatwood of Buchanan; one daughter, Peggy Mullins of Buchanan; two sons and daughters-in-law, Melvin and Elaine Cheatwood of Oxford, AL and Marvin and Janet Cheatwood of Buchanan; two sisters, Grace Thomas of Bremen and Betty Miller Commerce; one brother, Luther Mason of Buchanan; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 29, 2008 at 3:00 P.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Brother Ricky Shirley and Valerie Winfrey officiating. Music will be rendered by Brother Ricky Shirley and Amy Mullins. Interment will follow in the Tallapoosa-East Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Joseph Mullins, Daniel Mullins, Brian Cheatwood, Phillip Harn, Chris Hill and Andy Lance. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
