Mrs. Annie Millwood Carlile, age 73, of Buchanan passed away Friday, November 6, 2015.  Mrs. Carlile was born in Cherokee County, Georgia on September 21, 1942.  She was the daughter of the late Andrew Ellis Millwood and the late Ethel Burke Millwood.  Mrs. Millwood was a homemaker.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Ernest Carlile; two daughters, Virginia Sue Higgins and Barbara Carlisle; three sons, Hamilton Lee Carroll, Lamar Lewis Carlile and Luther Carroll; five brothers, Melvin Millwood, Charles Millwood, Sammy Millwood, Tommy Millwood and Vern Millwood.

Survivors include two daughters, Annie Ruth Barnes of Waco and Rosa Post of Carrollton; four sons, Ira Carroll of Carrollton, Douglas Carlile of Buchanan, Ray Ernest Carlile of Carrollton and Ernest E. Carlile of Temple; one sister, Gloria Howard of Felton; three brothers, Stanley Millwood of Bremen, Lonnie Millwood and Ronnie Millwood both of Kennesaw; twenty four grandchildren; and a number of great grandchildren and other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, November 8, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Homer Wysner officiating.  Interment will follow in Buchanan City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
