Bremen

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Anne (Bell) Williams, age 64, of Bremen, who departed this life on Monday, February 16, 2026. Born on September 11, 1961, in Bremen, Anne was the beloved daughter of the late Johnny Lee Griffin and the late Bettie (Billingsly) Crane. She is preceded in death by her cherished husband, Ricky Williams, and her son, T.J. Ware.

Anne was a proud graduate of Haralson County High School, where she excelled as both a student and an athlete, making memories on the basketball court under the guidance of coaches Jane Williamson and Steve Lambert. Her passion for life extended to her profession in childcare, where she positively impacted the lives of many children in her community.

Anne's vibrant personality was matched only by her love for beauty. She took joy in her makeup, shopping online, and relished visiting friends and exploring her community, particularly during her routine trips to Wal-Mart. Known affectionately in West Georgia as “the gold hat lady,” she was a familiar and cherished presence at numerous sports events supporting her family. A devout Christian, Anne was a treasured member of Word of Truth Christian Church in Bremen. Her family was her greatest joy, and her grandchildren were her pride and joy, filling her life with love and laughter.

Mrs. Williams is survived by her loving children, Timothy Grier of Bremen and Angelica Johnson, along with her husband Andrew, of Sienna, Texas. She leaves behind her adored siblings: Shenelle Hines of Decatur, Veronica “Pep” Kayanga and her husband, Steve of Jacksonville, Florida, Lisa “Choc” Griffin of Bremen, Marisa “Spark” Griffin of Lithia Springs, and Monet Johnson of Mableton. Additionally, she is remembered by her brother, John Darryll “J.D.” Griffin and his wife Patricia of Bremen. Anne's legacy continues through her grandchildren, Lennox, Conway, Maddox, Melrose, Kameron, Emanuel, Elijah, Arianna, and Jayleigh. She is also deeply missed by her many cherished friends and numerous relatives.

Anne's warmth and spirit touched many lives, and she will be lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In accordance with Anne’s wishes, she was cremated.
