Mrs. Anna Louise Benson Cerbasi, age 65, of Tallapoosa passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2010. Mrs. Cerbasi was born in Athens, Tennessee on December 18, 1944. She was the daughter of the late William Samuel Benson, Sr. and the late Glady Marie Adair Benson. Mrs. Cerbasi was very active in the Order of the Eastern Star, Ruth Chapter #7 of Fort Pierce, Florida and was a retired tool booth operator for the State of Florida. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Anthony Cerbasi, Sr. Survivors include four step-daughtes, Joann Satore Cabe of New Jersey, Rose Marie Sparozic of Melrose, FL, Antoinette Hunt of Clayton, GA, and Rebecca Heilfurth of New York; two sons, Vincent Anthony Cerbasi, Jr. of Fort Pierce, FL and James Cerbasi of Henderson, NV; one sister and brother-in-law, Deborah (Jim) Oien of Port Saint Lucie, FL; two brothers and sisters-in-law, William S. (Barbara) Benson, Jr. of Tallapoosa and Thomas Sidney (Evelyn) Benson of Cleveland, TN; and a number of other relatives. No services are planned at this time. The body will be cremated. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
