Ms. Angela Lynn Summerville Austin, age 52, of Tallapoosa passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2014 in a local hospital following a brief illness.  Ms. Austin was born in Carrollton on July 18, 1961.  She was the daughter of the late Junior Summerville and the late Geneva Swafford Davis.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Scott Summerville.

Survivors include her spouse, Patrick Dupree of Tallapoosa; one daughter, Taylor Austin of Tallapoosa; two sisters, Kristy Thomson of Bremen and Diane Haverty of Tallapoosa; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January10, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Chester Pesnell officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
