Alicia Sueann Mason, age 25 of St. Augustine, Florida, passed away after a brief, but valiantly fought, battle with cancer. Born in Cartersville on February 8, 1999, she was the daughter of Sherry Thompson Kay and the late Timothy Mason.

Alicia was small in stature, but had a larger than life personality.  Her infectious laugh was one of a kind and drew everyone in to laugh with her.  Alicia had a huge heart and always thought of others before herself.  She was a great mother to Bethanie and Colt.  Her love of the beach took her to St. Augustine, and she enjoyed scuba diving there, also.  She loved all animals, but especially her dogs, Molly and Max. Her beauty was from the inside out, and she will be dearly missed by all who loved her.

Left to cherish her memories are her mother, Sherry Kay of Cartersville; her fiance', Artie Hamblin and children, Bethanie and Colt Hamblin, all of St. Augustine; her step-father, Raymond "Buddy" Dockery of Dallas; grandmother, Teresa Bell of Cartersville; grandfather, Joseph Turner, Cartersville; sisters, Kristie Thompson and Misty Wigley; sisters-in-love, Taylor Woods, Shelly Long, Chelsey Thompson, and Kristin Thompson; brother-in-love, Dustin Thompson; and other extended family and friends.

The family will host a celebration of Alicia's life at a later date.

Cremation services have been entrusted to Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan.
