Alice Carter Webb, age 78 of Mt. Zion, passed away Friday, June 21, 2024.  Born in Carrollton on February 12, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Judson Carter and the late Ezelle Harris Carter.

Alice spent 15 years of her work career at Sewell Manufacturing.  She retired after 32 cumulative years working with Tanner Medical Center in the Central Supply Department (1976 - 2008).  In her leisure time, she enjoyed camping with her family and her favorite spot was West Point Lake.  Alice also enjoyed spending time crocheting, gator riding, and working in her vegetable garden.  Keeping Ellis in line was almost a full-time job for Alice.  She loved her family dearly and her chihuahuas.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 61 years, Ellis Webb; her sons Chris (Fiance' Sandra Williamson) Webb of Mt. Zion and Corey & Beverly Webb of Carrollton; and her grandchildren: Kirstin (Sam) Robison, Kobie (Alison) Webb, Kace (Madison) Webb, and Alli (Michael) Shaw.  Also surviving is her brother David (Jane) of Douglasville; and her precious great-grandchildren: Jude Robison, Swayze Robison, Avery Shaw, Andi Shaw, and soon to make his appearance, Jett Webb.

The family will host a celebration of Alice's life on July 14, 2024, at 2:00 PM from New Hope Methodist Church in Carrollton.  Alice always wanted people to be comfortable and the family asks that those attending come in their casual clothes.
