Mr. Alec Evan Watkins, age 88, of Temple formerly of Maryland passed away Saturday, November 29, 2014.  He was born in Yorktown, Pennsylvania on December 13, 1925.  Mr. Watkins was the son of the late Anthony Wayne Watkins and the late Elizabeth Griffin Watkins. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was a retired construction foreman.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Measell Watkins.

Survivors include one daughter, Jeanne May of Carollton; one son, Lloyd Watkins of Temple; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

No services are planned at this time.
