Mr. Alan Phillip Garner, age 57 of Buchanan, passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2019. He was born on January 13, 1962 to the late Bryan Jusdon Garner and the late Mary Lyles Garner. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by two sisters Ginger Garner Jackson and Debbie Garner Stone.

Survivors include one daughter, Jennifer Rose Garner of Clinton, IA; one son, Justin Allen Garner of Fulton, IL; two sisters and brother in law, Pam Garner (Kenneth) Henderson of Bremen and Fran Garner of Mt. Zion; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Butch (Lucy) Garner of Mt. Zion, Billy (Sonya) Garner of Hiram and David Garner of Carrollton; six grandchildren, Schyler Pitts, Emma Garner, Sciyles Handy, Mila Garner, Caleb Garner, Kierstyn Handy and several nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Memorial services will be conducted on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at 1:00 PM from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Reverend Richard Brannon officiating. Eulogy's are to be read by Tammy Floyd, Josh Shoemaker, Lisa Ayers, Wrayanne Parker, Jennifer Garner and Pam Henderson.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
